The Canadian Junior Hockey Association has reported the compulsory utilization of neck monitors.
They’ve reported that all CJHL individuals associations casted a ballot for the new guideline, including the AJHL.
Players should wear a neck monitor during all on-ice exercises, which will apply to 122 groups altogether.
It comes not long after the passing of Adam Johnson, a previous NHL focus who kicked the bucket after an on-ice impact prompted his neck being truly cut.
The WHL has likewise made them compulsory, and the Pittsburgh Penguins are encouraging their players to wear watches.
